   Livestyle - Although I think Microsoft is doing a good job in general, I think Vista itself is a bigger pain than a virus outbreak. A perfect point in time for Bill to retire. Vista steals a lot of your time since it's typcially two times slower with a doubled high-capacity PC. Copying even small files will take many seconds instead of a blink of an eye, even if source and target are on local disk drives. Maybe they want to show you their animations a little bit longer - which you can't switch off. If you think logging-in with your fingerprint is cool, just wait for the "patch" KB926673. It makes this tool a zombie on your system.
   
   Windows updates makes your system slower as it was used to be with XP, but now in a third of the time. After more than 25 years of PC era you still have to reboot your system every second time after updates have been installed.
   
   Finding files with explorer has become that slow that it now makes sense you write down your file locations on a piece of paper (and Yes, indexing was switched on, what slowdowns your PC additionally). Lost network shares stops your system for minutes. It freezes completely if you think clicking again would be smart.
   
   You can't configure specific port forwardings anymore, not even through s-tunnels. Sound recordings from the direct output of your Soundcard does not work anymore either (for "security" reasons").
   
   But there is something nice you might reconsider:
   On the plus side you get an analog watch with a seconds hand in the upper right corner *and* an RSS feed panel - Wow!!
